The TVO Independent Learning Centre (ILC) stands as Ontario’s largest online high school. In collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Education, TVO ILC extends the opportunity for students in Ontario and globally to achieve a high school diploma through online education.
ILC Rates and Flexibility
Operating as a non-profit organization enables a dedicated focus on delivering quality and value. High school credit courses for eligible Ontario residents start at just $40, setting a favorable comparison against other private online high schools with significantly higher fees. Competitive rates are also available for students residing outside of Ontario and Canada.
Students have the flexibility to enroll and study at their convenience, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each course, comprising 110 hours of instruction, tests, and assignments, allows for completion within a period of up to 10 months.
How To Enroll in TVO ILC
Students can opt for individual credits if they meet one of two criteria:
- You must be at least 14 years of age or will be turning 14 by December 31 of this school year
- You are not currently enrolled in a high school in Ontario, Canada. If you are, please contact your counsellor about enrolling with ILC.
If you don’t meet these requirements but are interested in pursuing online learning and earning a course credit or an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), Virtual High School could be a more suitable choice for you.
ILC Courses and Opportunities
TVO ILC presents a diverse selection of over 140 interactive and captivating courses. These courses are crafted to accommodate various student requirements, whether it’s achieving a full Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or acquiring specific credits to further higher education or career objectives.
Students can also enroll in courses to fulfill prerequisites or enhance high school grades to meet the admission criteria of post-secondary institutions or career expectations. Moreover, TVO ILC offers avenues for personal and professional growth, aiding students in acquiring the skills sought after by employers, preparing for career transitions, or pursuing their passions.
