Highlights
Bur Oak Secondary School stands out for its student community, as it includes a variety of student-led organizations that actively contribute to the school’s lively atmosphere. Throughout the academic year, the school hosts numerous events, including the annual back-to-school barbeque, Bossilicious in September, and a Summer Carnival in late May. These events, organized by the Student Activity Council, academic departments, and student clubs, provide opportunities for socializing and creating lasting memories. In a historic moment for the school, the Special Needs class participated in the Ontario Sears Drama Festival in 2015.
