We are very excited to introduce the STEM & LEAF enrichment camp, an acceleration program devoted to skill development in the Sciences, Maths, and Disciplinary Literacy. Designed for students entering Grades 6 through 10, STEM & LEAF teaches young learners the essential foundations of higher level Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Literacy. Topics are carefully selected from high school courses across all grades, modified and taught with an emphasis on Fact Analysis as well as technological and engineering applications.
High school concepts are not beyond the reach of younger children and adolescents. In most quarters of Eastern Asia, the average Grade 6 student is well versed in topics that we in North America only begin teaching and learning in high school.
As a result, too many students here transition into university without having absorbed key Mathematical, Scientific and Literary concepts at an intuitive level. Students should begin familiarizing themselves with key STEM and LEAF foundations at the early stages of brain development so that their learning becomes firmly rooted in intuition. In effect, young students can avoid the arduous labours associated with learning abstract concepts for the first time in their mid- to late-teens, and devote more time to appreciating what the various academic disciplines have to offer.
Small Class Sizes
The STEM & LEAF camp is open to student enrolment as of May 8th. A maximum of 12 students will be accepted, and the student to teacher ratio will be capped at 6 to 1. Larger classroom constituencies tend to vitiate a student’s learning experience, and so enrolment into this program is limited.
Drop-in or Full-program Enrolment
Each full day of learning is disconnected from the next, which means that students have the option of dropping in as per the convenience of parents and students. However, drop-in allowance will be contingent upon student enrolment at the time of STEM & LEAF commencement, and will be withdrawn if enrolment reaches capacity.

Following a tutoring session, our tutors can create personalized homework tasks designed to address students’ weaknesses and enhance their strengths. Furthermore, we integrate homework questions directly sourced from past tests and quizzes administered by school teachers from our Past Test Bank. This enables students to familiarize themselves with potential test questions and better prepare for assessments.
